The industry’s first cordless pipe threader has arrived. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Pipe Threader revolutionises the pipe threading process by delivering unprecedented cordless control and simplifying the entire process from start to finish.

What is a pipe threader used for?

As the name suggests, a pipe threader is used to cut threads or grooves into the end of a metal pipe. This allows for the secure fastening of a length of pipe to a coupling or connector. Pipe threaders are used by anyone whose job involves joining, forming or connecting pipes, from plumbers and pipe fitters to electricians and HVAC technicians.

Milwaukee's new cordless pipe threader will be able to handle black steel pipe, stainless steel and rigid metal conduit, with a pipe capacity of 1/8" up to 2".

In addition to being the first cordless pipe threader on the market, the Milwaukee M18  FUEL Pip Threader also has a ton of features to help make the job quicker, easier and more safe.

AUTOSTOP Kickback Control

One of the most common frustrations with corded threaders is over-rotation, which can lead to loss of control and potential injury. To prevent this, the M18 FUEL Threader features AUTOSTOP Kickback Control technology.

  • AUTOSTOP senses severe kickback and automatically shuts off the tool.
     
  • A dedicated support arm can be clamped to the pipe to enable threading without pipe stand.This helps to prevent movemen of the tool during operation.

Side-grip Thread Starts

  • Die head retention lock allows for dies to lock into the tool before starting thread.
     
  • Side-grip allows for no engagement with the spinning die head before or during the threading process.

Fast Threading

  • Faster threading allows for unmatched productivity.
     
  • Multi-speed selector optimises thread quality across pipe sizes.
