Where required to obtain increased deflection at the same kg/cm², the M164 pad can be stacked in layers, however, where more than two layers are used, separate each layer with a metal shim plate of 1.5 - 2mm thickness
If several layers are required, the height of the stack should be less than the length or width
When installing a M164 pad, an overlay of 6mm around the feet of the machine should be allowed
