    • Applications
  • Gensil Paste 12 is a high performance silicone based, translucent paste, specially developed for applications in dielectric insulation, surface protection, release and specialized lubrication
  • Gensil Paste 12 is used in the following typical applications:
  • Isolator protection
  • To exclude and moisture and make surfaces water-resistant (ignition systems, isolator switches, transmission and power equipment, cables and terminal insulators)
  • To reduce oxidative hardening of plastic and synthetic rubber insulators
  • To inhibit corrosion of magnesium and aluminium surfaces (ignition systems, TV aerials, battery terminals, cable and cable connectors)
  • To prevent sticking of the contacting machined surfaces and gaskets
  • Sealing and potting compound in electronic gear
