Features
 • 3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame-Retardant Compound 2131 – self-curing resin bonds to itself and most modern cable jackets, and requires no torch or other external heat source; forms a splice or repair that is abrasion resistant and flame retardant
 • The semi-flexible compound – allows “permanent” splice to bend with cable; for installation, handling, reeling, etc
 • Applications suitable for weather exposed,direct burial or submerged locations. Other applications include inline single conductor cables rated up to 5 kV, tap cingle conductor cables rated up to 1 kV, inline and tap multi conductor cables rated up to 1 kV and mine portable cables rated 600/2000 volts
 • MHSA approved and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
 • Kit contains removable mould, 3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame Retardant Compound 2131, Scotch™ Rubber Splicing Tape 23 and 3M™ Three-M-Ite™ Elek-Tro-Cut™ Abrasive Cloth
