Features
  • Enclosed robust encapsulated assembly with a 2 core Grey sheathed connecting cable to facilitate output signal connections

  • The Transducer is an Accelerometer based Vibration Transducer using a 2 wire 4-20mA analogue signal transmitter

  • Duty:

  • When mounted on a Vibratory Feeder the Transducer generates a 4-20mA Signal proportional to Machine Amplitude

  • Operating Voltage 9 to 52VDC

  • Mass 780g

Applications
  • The Accelerometer Stroke Transducer is intended to be bolted to the Feeder being vibrated

  • The arrows shown on the attached Accelerometer Stroke Transducer Outline Drawing should point in the direction of maximum vibration and the surface to which the Transducer is bolted should only be vibrating in the plane of that surface

  • Considerable care must be exercised in the running of the cable from the Transducer

  • The polarity in the connections to the Transducer is not important

  • Cable extension beyond 4 metres supplied should be screened to provide protection from electrical interference (Dekeron acceptable)

  • Once the Transducer is mounted on the Vibrating Feeder and the cable terminated in a stationary junction box, the motion of the cable should be observed

  • If this cable is permitted to rub on stiffening ribs or other moving parts the insulation will be quickly destroyed

  • If whipping or resonating of the cable is occurring, the length of the cable or the shape of the loop will need to be changed

  • Motion of the cable should only occur near to the gland of the Transducer and this motion should die away as the distance from the Transducer increases

  • Once calibrated with its respective monitor the length of cable run is not relative
